Xitan Z Ultra Power – a very tough pole for very tough situations! As its name suggests, the Xitan Z Ultra Power has been specially designed for big fish and big catch situations. The Ultrapower middle sections have an extra, very distinctive and visible, spiral carbon wrap layer which significantly increases section wall strength. This method of strengthening has allowed us to keep the pole’s weight reasonable and therefore the Ultrapower is lighter than usual for poles with this level of strength. The pole is built on the same mandrel and includes many of the advanced features found on the more expensive Xitan poles so the Ultrapower is not the typical crude and heavy “power” pole. If ultimate strength and reliability are what you’re looking for – with just a bit more “class” - then the Ultrapower is the pole for you! Available in either 14.5m Pro or smaller 13m packages, but can be extended to 16m by using an extra extension. The pole is supplied with the large 5.5mm tip diameter, pre-bushed, SLK Power topkits that will take the thickest elastics.
